2010-2012 Audi A6L All Key Lost with VVDI VAG Diagnostic Interface

Many people failed to read data via OBD on Audi A6L in the 2010-2012 year, or failed to make dealer keys with the data to learn key. After some tests and feedback, the Xhorse VVDI factory share some technical instruction on 2010-2012 AUDI A6L all key lost without disassembling.

1: need short circuit to the fuse before reading data, to force the engine to supply power to the computer

2: insert a key into the ignition switch and turn it to open
(only air condition indicator light up; dashboard cannot light up)
With a key inserted into the ignition switch, turn the ignition switch to the direction of twist open

3: use VVDI v2.78 or newer versions to learn keys

Select All key lost- read CPU data via OBD
4: generate EZS data (all key lost mode) after reading data
5: use IMMO data to make dealer key
6: make dealer key success, then learn keys
If you cannot learn keys in this interface, you can go to Diagnosis (05 or 25), enter password to learn keys
Note:
Older VVDI software versions cannot make dealer keys when directly read password of firmware protection box from the engine


So there are many people disassembled J518 CPU, but gave it up.
You are at great risks to disassemble AUDI J518 CPU (2010-), but luckily VVDI VAG diagnostic interface can help you perform it. Lots of successful cases now...
