ICOM A2 INPA reset/calibrate steering angle on BMW F30

i'm retrofitting cruise control on a BMW F30 2005.
Changed the parts needed and added cruise control to the VO and coded the modules needed to code.
Next and last step is Resetting/Calibrating the steering angle sensor in INPA but it gives me the following message and nothing more happens:
Calibration steering angle only with steering wheel balancer !!
Okay this was actually really easy
1. Start by launching Toolset 32 / Tool32:
2. Choose "Load SGBD Group file"
3. Find your DSC module and click "open", (In my case for a E90 2005 F30 it was DSC_87.prg)
4. Scroll your way down to "lenkwinkel dsc abgleichen", ignition on and double click that.
Wait for the job to finish (took about 10 seconds for me)
DONE!
Steering Angle calibrated and VIN-matched to car.





Done!

How to run BMW ICOM A2 with E-SYS?

It is possible use the bmw icom a2 francais to work in the e-sys??
Yes, just lock it with EasyConnect, obd_ab625 and then insert your ICOM IP in ESYS connection manager.
Here are the steps:
You have to lock/check the ICOM IP in ISTA-Dso E-Sys can use it. Therefore you need a tool like EasyConnect or iToolRadar. 
Connect the ICOM, turn the ignition on, start f.e. iToolradar. Now you can see the connection from the ICOM (normally on 169.154.92.38), mark it and click on reserve
(in EasyConnect is different but as easy as itoolradar).

Start E-Sys, choose the target (f.e. F010) and click on "connection ICOM/Ethernet". Type the IP address (here 169.254.92.38), the port is 50160, so the result should be tcp://169.254.92.38:50160.


Connect and have fun.
Note: TRY ON YOUR RISK. The instruction via pictures is kind of different that via words, especially ICOM IP setup. Both can be tried.
Feedback on ICOM connection to E-sys
My experience says that you need patience to use a icom diag head with e-sys, it's a 50/50 chance that it will work or not, or, something may not work. Last time I had a problem that I could code a lot of modules, except the BKOMBI module was uncodable (it gave a error on coding, don't know what type of error).

How to repair Renault CAN CLiP hardware -flash ISO&CAN BDM chip

There is an easier way to repair Renault CAN CLiP hardware (at least flash chips).

According to Freescale (in present owner of Motorola chips) )

The CPU that is inside CLiP (both cards have one - ISO and CAN) HAVE capability for BDM (see page 4-42 / chapter 4.14.4 from manual).

Now, let's dig more...

In this happy family this particular CPU that power Clip (more precisely
 MC68HC16Z1) have only 1-Kbyte static RAM and use external FLASH also external RAM for program execution.

By checking pinout (page 3-7 / figure 3-4) the pins involved in BDM business are:

pin 59 - VDD
pin 62 - VSS
pin 64 - FREEZE
pin 66 - BKPT/DSCLCK
pin 67 - IPIPE0/DSO
pin 68 - IPIPE1/DSI
pin 69 - RESET
pin 71 - BERR
pin 86 - DS

Now...at page 4-45 / figure 4 -8 we see Freescale recommended BDM connection.

After i check (by measuring traces) i found BDM connections on both cards - they are EXACTLY as producer recommends (see photos attached).

As we found out BDM port for this CPU, we need a software for flashing, and i found 
PROG16z or PROG32z from P&E Microcomputer Systems (as info, but unfortunately NOWHERE to download).

I also found hardware interface for BDM (pretty simple).


The main concern is to find a software to put CPU in Background Debug Mode (BDM) and load flash thru BDM port (prog16z or prog32z are perfect for that).

Also for testing you could try Freescale Background Debug Monitor. I also atached s19 to hex convertor

Maybe someone who has some free time can test that and report evolution of this project on
CAN CLIP interface. But TRY ON YOUR OWN RISK.

2- Activate software
Under the file “LEXIA3_KEYGEN”, there are the activation pictures for lexia3
and the file “PP2000_KEYGEN” contains the activation pictures for PP2000.
Tips:
1- it needs registered code for PP2000, but no registered code for lexia3, as
for the registered code.
2- To the customers whose mother language is not English, that’s ok, since
there are 20 kinds of language for Citroen, and 26 kinds of Language for
Peugeot.
