How to Update CBAY Hand-held Key Programmer Firmware V6.0

It is informed that the firmware of CBAY Hand-held Key Programmer has updated to V6.0

Here is the instruction on how to update it.

Tips before update:

1 Please turn off anti-virus software.

2 The version which is lower than V5.20 should be updated to V5.20 through the old client, then update it to V6.0

3 Do not disconnect the data line during the update process.

4 The tool for V6.0 updating and the tool for G chip opening is the same one.

Update procedure:

Download JMD V6.0 Client and Serial Driver, then install

Click my computer to find device management

This device is working in normal operation. Click yes

Install the update software device

Open JMD client and click firmware update, then follow the steps

Restart the hand-held tool

In update, please wait

Upgrade the patch programs, please wait

All the update is completed

Precaution for updating:

1 connect the CBAY key programmer and computer with data cable.

2 do not connect more than one tool.

3 please wait with patience during the update process.

4 do not disconnect the data cable until all the update is completed.
