Here is a guide to show how you update XPROG-M V5.0 Box ECU Programmer without dongle to XPROG-M V5.74! Note: You try this method with luck and your own risk.

You also need: ATMEGA64 Repair Chip update XPROG-M

XPROG-M V5.0 software update to XPROG-M V5.74 guide

Unzip the XPROG 5.7.4.zip contents to a folder on your desktop.

Open the folder AVRDUDESS and run avrdudess.exe program.

The following procedure will flash the version 5.0 firmware on your XPROG device.

Select your programmer.

Click on “Detect” at the top right corner. It will detect ATMEGA64.

Select your flash file which is in the Firmware folder.

Select your EEPROM file which is in the Firmware folder.

Enable the “Erase flash and EEPROM (-e)” option.

Set the following in the “Fuses & lock bits”

L: 0x2F

H: 0xCA

E: 0xFF

LB: 0x3C

And enable the “Set fuses” and “Set lock” options.

Finally click on “Program” and wait till it finishes and verify all the data are flashed correctly.

If not then try again.

Now that the Xprog has version 5.0 firmware, go to the “XprogDesktop” folder and run “XprogDesktop.exe” file.

Click on “Help->Hardware info…” and once it opens it will ask to upgrade the firmware.

If not, then click on the “Upgrade” button. Once this procedure is finished you can try and read a processor. It will ask for a certificate. If it fails try again.

When it is finished the XPROG will run the latest firmware and you will be able to work with the latest XPROG V5.7.4 software!

Again note that this is not a 100% successful guide, some work and some may not.

If you need 100% tested working latest XPROG-M Programmer that will work almost the same as XPROG-M V5.74, get this one:

How to use TM100 Key programmer for Toyota/Lexus G Tiris 4C 4D DST+ chip

It’s a user manual of Toyota/Lexus G, Tiris 4C, 4D, DST+ chip decode, copy, ect. and smart key programming with TM100 Key programmer v4.0.

Basic info of Toyota/Lexus chip via TM100:

Chip types supported:

TM100 covers all Toyota and Lexus models(Tiris 4C, Tiris 4D, Tiris DST+, G chip and Smart key) except for latest type H transponder

* good at Toyota H reading;

Land Cruiser 200, Land Cruiser Prado, RAV4, Venza, Corolla, Lexus：LX 570, GX 460, RX, LS 460, GS, IS

How to use TM100 to program Toyota “G” chip:

1. Remove the immolibilizerr box (immo box) from the instrument cluster
   2. Read EEPROM 93C66 data via Xprog-M ECU programming tool, then save the data
   3. Open TM100 software
   4. Select Toyota Camry 2005-up EEPROM module 93C66
   5. Click on Open File to load EEPROM 93C66 saved previously
   6. Select Use Original Chip (with G chip) and click OK
   7. Select “Key Position 1” to write the key
   8. TM100 key programmer will generate new data
   9. Write the key data into EEPROM 93C66
   10. Install the immo box to instrument cluster
   11. Start the vehicle with the new programmed key

How to copy TEMIC 8C by TM100:
1. Select TPReader, click TEMIC 8C, put original 8C chip into coil, click Read;
2. Put TK5561 into coil, click Write;

How to decode TIRIS 4D:
1.Select Tools, Clone, Tiris 4D;
2.Connect TM100 key cloner to PC;
3.Put original key into coil of TM100 key programmer to decode;
4.If decode success, put YS01/TPX2/EH2 transponder into coil of TM100 key programmer;
